My Story
Hi, my name is Melanie Hecht and I am a real estate investor. I own several investment properties including two single family homes and several parcels of raw land.
I haven’t always been a real estate investor. I am what you might call a “serial explorer.” In other words, I have had several careers but none have captured my interest like real estate has.
Real estate investing allows me to do what I love most, learning about new things and meeting new people. One of the ways I have met new people and learned a lot about real estate investing is by hosting the Cashflow Game created by Robert Kiyosaki, bestselling author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. The games were a great place for sharing tips, getting support, and finding business partners.
Over the years, as I invested in different types of property and had a business rehabbing houses, I discovered that it wasn’t easy to keep track of all my investment properties, especially the ones I was remodeling.
I love to make money, but keeping track of my properties was difficult!
I struggled for a long time trying to gain control of my projects. Getting the paperwork organized at tax time used to drive me crazy!
